Well....it's finally that time ladies and gents, June 17th departure date is only days away! We are all so excited to embark on our journey, inspired by the support of so many phenomenal people. Our last two fundraisers were a huge success and we would like to thank again The Wild Tangerine, Full Course Strategies, The Crowne Plaza, On the Rocks and all of the volunteers involved, for their incredible generosity. Anne-Marie would also like to express her sincere gratitude to the amazing Dr. Andre Breault of Off Whyte Chiropractic for donating his services for the past few weeks. It has been an amazing year of preparation, growth and anticipation and we are so excited to hit the road for something we believe so strongly in. The challenges we will face this summer are daunting, but it is in those challenges we hope to get people involved, to connect communities and to spark change.

As 2008 draws to a close, we are so excited with the support we have already received. In just four short months we've raised over $10,000.00 for Primeros Pasos! We had a very successful benefit event at On The Rocks in September with live music and a silent auction. Thank you so much to all those who attended and were so supportive. We also organized a Christmas Gift project that has raised over $3,000.00. Thank you so much to everyone who has participated and given the gift of health care and education this year! It should not be left out that we have received very generous independent donations from friends and supporters. With more and more support, Cody, Gen, Gus and Anne are in full swing with physical training and will be ready to bike across the continent in June.
